The Castro Valley Christmas Tree Farm is closed for the 2025 season. Thanks to all our patrons for a very successful year. We hope that you enjoy your tree and have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
We will be open again in 2026, with opening day on Sunday, Nov. 22; and we will be open the following 3 weekends – Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. We hope to see you again next year.
All the trees grown in the fields are pesticide free. No chemicals are used.
Good News! Redwood Road has been repaired and is now open to the tree farm from Castro Valley (1 mile past the Redwood Canyon Golf Course), and Oakland (off Hwy 13), and Moraga (via Moraga Rd.)
Castro Valley Christmas Tree Farm

Nestled in the beautiful East Bay Hills just north of Castro Valley, our tree farm offers a unique outdoor experience where you can not only cut down a fresh “Choose & Cut” Christmas tree, but also enjoy nature at its finest!

How it works
We want your day to be fun and enjoyable, so we will provide everything you need, including site maps, saws, and twine upon your arrival.
In the past we’ve encouraged people to take their time and spend the day at the farm, but due to health precautions and limited capacity, we ask that you make your tree selections as quickly as possible.
Our Trees
We provide and grow a wide variety of Christmas trees for you to choose from so you can’t go wrong.
