The Castro Valley Christmas Tree Farm will be open in 2026 beginning on Sunday, Nov. 22. We will be open the following 3 weeks – Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. (Closed Mon.-Wed.) We hope to see you in 2026.

All the trees grown in the fields are pesticide free. No chemicals are used.
Castro Valley Christmas Tree Farm
Nestled in the beautiful East Bay Hills just north of Castro Valley, our tree farm offers a unique outdoor experience where you can not only cut down a fresh “Choose & Cut” Christmas tree, but also enjoy nature at its finest!
How it works
We want your day to be fun and enjoyable, so we will provide everything you need, including site maps, saws, and twine upon your arrival.
We have plenty of parking on the farm, so we encourage you to take your time, hike through the trees, and enjoy the beautiful East Bay hills. We ask that you choose your tree carefully before you cut it. And please don’t cut or injure the little trees – they are our future crop.
Our Trees
We provide and grow a wide variety of Christmas trees for you to choose from including Douglas-fir, Monterey pine, cypress, redwoods, and cedars.
